DR. J. C. PENN
Pioneer Physician of Pike County Dies in Piketon.
Piketon, November 22 ____ - Funeral services for Dr. J. C. Penn, 81, prominent Pike County physician, who died at his home here Tuesday will be held at the Piketon M. E. Church at 2 p.m. Rev. Russell Stafford and the Masonic Lodge in charge. Dr. Penn was formerly a member of the Pike County district board of health.
Dr. Penn was a son of physician and was a native of the Rarden community in Scioto County. He had been in Piketon and vicinity for a number of years.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Nellie J. Penn, a son William of Morgantown, Pike County and a brother, Watson of Rarden. Dr. Penn was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Sinking Springs. The body was moved to the A. M. Gregg Funeral Home in Waverly.
