Mrs Peal Beekman
Mrs. Inez Virginia Beekman, 24, died at 1:40 p.m., Friday, at her home on Waverly, Route 2, in the Boswell Run community, after a lingering illness.
She was born in Greenup, Kentucky, on July 28th, 1924, the daughter of Tollie and Nancy England Tackett.
Surviving are the husband, Pearl Beekman, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tollie Tackett of McGuffey, Ohio; five brothers, James, Donald, Robert, Paul and Melvin Tackett, all at home; four sisters, Miss Connie Tackett, at home, Mrs. John Miller and Mrs. Cleve Pratt, both of Dunkirk, Ohio and Mrs. Charles Miller of Piketon; her grandfather, W. H. Tackett of Piketon, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam England, of Waverly, Route 1.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, at the Howe Company Funeral Home in Piketon, with Rev. Don Humble officiating.
Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery here.
The body remained at the funeral home until time for the final rites.
