Miss Ruth Hunt
Funeral services for Miss Ruth E. Hunt, of 314 Valerie Drive, Waverly, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, with Rev. Glade May officiating. Following the service, a graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Laural Cemetery in Cincinnati under the direction of Boyer’s. Friends called at the funeral home here from 2 until 5 p.m. Saturday.
Miss Hunt died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday in the Pike County Hospital, following a brief illness. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Union Iron and Steel Company in Cincinnati.
A native of Ohio, she was born on November 11, 1888 in Wooster, a daughter of Edwin H. and Margaret E. (Baker) Hunt.
Her only survivors are of a sister, Miss Edna M. Hunt of 314 Valerie Drive, Waverly, and one brother, Allyn H. Hunt of Russellville, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, Miss Hunt was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
