EDWIN RUSSELL FOSTER
      Edwin Russell Foster , better known here as "Bud" died at the Portsmouth General Hospital Friday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock. He had been admitted there as a patient at noon Friday.
     Mr. Foster was a member of the Batavia Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite at Cincinnati.
A veteran of World War I, he served as station Agent for the N&W at Piketon having been in the service of the company for 30 years as a telegrapher and Station Agent.
     Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Foster residence at Piketon with  Rev. David Williams, pastor of the Piketon Methodist Church officiating. Interment followed in Mound Cemetery under the direction of A. M. Gregg.
     He is survived by his wife Florence, a son Jack of Winchester, Ind. and two brothers, Wells Foster of Piketon, and Selby Foster of Columbus.
