Emma Armstrong, Native County Lady, passes At Piketon

     Mrs. Emma Armstrong , 76, died at her home 408 E. Second Street, Piketon at 2:20 A.M. Saturday,
(Apr 1932), after an extended illness for the past fifteen years.
     A native of Pike County, she was born at Beaver on Januray 10, 1880, a daughter of Jacob and Catherine Zimbleman.
     Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Piketon Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Armstrong at home; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Daily of Cleveland, Mrs. May Littlerjohn of Piketon, Mrs. Nellie Carson of Waverly, Route 3, Mrs. Helen Diddle of Chillicothe, Mrs. Dora Grooms of Circleville and Mrs. Louise Rumfield of Waverly, Route 1; 14 grandchildren , 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Wright of Jeffersonville.      A son preceded her in death.
     Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Monday at the Howe Company Funeral Home in Piketon with Rev. Waid C. Radford, pastor of the Methodist Church there officiating. Burial followed in Mound Cemetery.
     Note here: Although this obit says one daughter's name is Littlerjohn, according to Dora Groom's obit, it says Littlejohn.
