Smith, Wm Junior

William Junior Smith, age 64, of Dry Run Road, Chillicothe, died 6:10 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Berger Hospital in Circleville, Oh., He was born December 18, 1940 in Vigo, Oh., a son of the late William Mason and Ruby Cash Smith.

On June 13, 1964 he was united in marriage to Cathryn Elizabeth Monk Smith who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Billie Jo (Greg) Freeman and three granddaughters, Sarah, Abbie, and Lindsay, sisters, Ernestine Osborn of Frankfort, Oh., Marie Moore of Beaver, Ohio, Dorothy (John) McAfee of Chillicothe, Oh., and Connie (Neil) LaVeck of Amanda, one brother, Larry (Pauline) Smith of Amanda, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Smith and Evelyn Jean Posey. Bill was retired from PPG, of Circleville as a maintenance man with thirty-seven years of service, and was a U S Marine Corps Veteran.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hallsville Cemetery with Rev. Eric VanBuskirk officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Ross County Veteran's Firing Squad. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hill Funeral Home in Kingston.
