CUTLIP, Oliver Wilson - Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howe-Wheeler Funeral Home in Piketon for Oliver "Woody" Wilson Cutlip of Big Run Road, Piketon, Ohio.Cutlip died August 15, 1986 at 4:08 p.m. at Pike Community Hospital after a long illness. The Rev. Jimmie Williams officiated the services and burial was in Mound Cemetery.
He was born May 11, 1899, in Pike County to George and Nancy Jane Bennett Culip. He was married to the late Monnie F. Word.
He was a retired machinist with the N & W Railroad and was a member of the Piketon-Jaspser United Methodist Church. He was a past member of the Pike County Democratic Executive Committee and the Pike County Election Board.
Survivors include three brothers, Chester Cutlip of Latham, Harley Cutlip and Orval B. Cutlip, both of Piketon and two sisters; Florence Days of Piketon and Ethel Kopp of Waverly.
He was preceded by his parents, wife, five brothers and four sisters.
