Burkitt, Catherine
Catherine Burkitt, 84, of Jeffersonville, died at 7 a. m. on Sunday at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born December 7, 1911, in Pike County to William and Catherine (Mossbarger) Crabtree.
Mrs. Burkitt retired from Colonial Stair and Woodworking. She attended First Christian Church of Huber Heights.
She is survived by two sons, Richard and Carole Hazelbaker of Lawton, Oklahoma and James and Janet Burkitt of Dayton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, three sisters and two brothers, and first husband, Nobel C.. Hazelbaker.
Funeral services were to be held today (Wednesday) at 1:30 p. m. at The Morrow Funeral Home in Jeffersonville with David McClary officiating. Burial was to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
