Albert Richmond
Albert J. Richmond, 54, 1011 Summer Street, Springfield, passed away Monday at 10:30 a.m. at University Hospital, Columbus.
Born February 24, 1923 in Scioto Furnace, Ohio, he was a retired welder for the O. S. Kelly Company. He was a son of the late Ora Lee and Eva Cook Richmond, and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are: his wife, Jean Gregory Richmond; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Tressie Gregory of Route #1, Beaver; three sons, Gregory of Springfield, Lyle, at home, and Jeff with the U. S. Marine Corp in Spain; one daughter, Mrs. Rita Williams of Springfield; three brothers, Calvin and Alfred, both of Waverly, and Earl of Springfield; thre sisters, Mrs. Edna Collinwerth and Mrs. Eva Wade, both of Dayton, and Mrs. Rosemary Straight of Findlay; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Hammerstein-Purdy Funeral Home, Beaver, with minister Arnold Denny officiating at 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Omega Cemetery.
