seeking any info on the family of Joseph F Morrison b 1862 in Nobel Co. Married Amanda Smallwood. Had a brother named William whose wifes name was Josephine. Joseph may have had 5 children. Danial Clark Morrison(my GF) b 8-18-1887 d_4-12-1936. Married Goldie Jayne Blackstone b 7-18-1892 d 1978.They were married on 11-23-1912. The other childrens names are believed to be Jess, Orville,Roy and Russellcan anyone tie into this family. I can't get beyond my GGf. Any info appreciated

Looking for information on Thornton D. PETTY who was one of 8 children of his parents (??) who settled in Beaver Township in 1821. Thornton was born 14 February 1832, married Eleanor D. HARRIS, circa 1858. His brother was Rev. Ludwell PETTY, who was a well-known minister of the Methodist Episcopal church. Any information on these PETTYs would be greatly appreciated.

Ibelieve these are my great-great grandparents. Familytradition says that Mary Jane CUNNINGHAM married _____SMYTH, who then went off to the Civil War and died.Mary Jane, a schoolteacher, then married Russel Parkerand went to Oregon in a wagon train. She had one dau-ter, Addie Rosalie Smyth, when she married Parker.

Trying to find a WILLIAM HENDERSON AND WIFE, EVA KING. they are my GREAT-GRANDMOTHER AND G-GRANDFATHER.The were living in Dexter City in 1916, when my grandmother died. Her name was Minnie Marie. She married AMOS CURTIS in 1910. Her obituary said she had two brothers and grandparents who reside in Dexter City. I don't know which side the grandparents were on. Minnie is buried in Dexter City, but I can't find a marker or anyone who has a list. She may have been buried beside William L Curtis, my great-grandfather on the Curtis side. Thanks for any info I can recieve.

BECKETT - I am collecting and am willing to share information about BECKETT families in the Ohio counties of Belmont, Jefferson, Noble, Guernsey, Monroe and Washington. I am a descendant of John Beckett (~1770 to 1850) of Virginia who moved with his family to Ohio in about 1811. They first settled in Warren Township, Jefferson County, but moved to Belmont County before 1820 and lived in Goshen Township until about 1832, when they moved to Green Township, Monroe County. I am trying to collect together as much information as I can about both their descendants and ancestors. I have collected a lot of information about them and other Beckett families, which I am willing to share. [21 Aug 1997]

Looking for the surname of CURTIS. My grandfather was born in Macksburg, Oh. 1886. He had two brothers. Sam was one of them. He had a brother by the name of Edward. I can't find when he was born, or if he would still be alive. In 1945, he lived in Columbus, Oh. Married a Maude Spence. His brother Sam married her sister, Rose Spence. Grandpa and my uncles also had a sister, Elsie Estella. She died in 1928. I have info. on Sam, but need something on EDWARD CURTIS. WASHINGTON CO.

Noble Co. and Washington Co.HENDERSON--I am looking for info on my great- grandfather. I found at one time, a William Henderson in the Noble Co. census, Sept.18, 1890. He had at least 3 children. Clare? Joe and my grandmother, Minnie Marie. Minnie was born on Sept. 21, 1891. She was born in Springdale, Pa. My grandmother died when she was 24 yrs. old. (July 30, 1916) My mother was born July 6, 1916. At the time of my g- mothers death, the paper said her grandparents and her two brothers lived in Dexter City, Oh. The obituary didn't say anything about her parents. My g-mothers mothers name was EVA KING. Eve's mothers name might have been GOLDIE KING. The paper did not say which side the grandparents were on. No names were given for the brothers or grandparents. I got this info from the obituary and Memorial Record. I also have a Masonic Lodge book, dated 1946. It has a Clarence W. King. He was a member at Harmar no.390 F.& A. M. Goldie is also listed there. In a 1947 Masonic book, there is a Bertha M., Clarence W. and a Margaret E. King.Their names was in there for Past Worthy Patrons. Any info. would be helpful. Thanks

KELLAR/KELLER & HATTON Michael KELLAR (m. Nancy DYER) and his sister, Margaret KELLAR (m. Boling HATTON) left Shenandoah Co., VA after 1816 and came to the Caldwell area with their families. There was also a KELLER family in the Mt. Ephraim area who was related to the KELLARS and HATTONS through connections in VA. I'm working to reconstruct these families and need help with the HATTONS and the KELLERS from Mt. Ephraim. Michael and Margaret KELLAR's parents were Michael and Catherine (MONROE) KELLAR m. in Stafford Co., Va. Will share what I have.

NOBLE CO.,OH 1870 census listed the following: Samuel & Mary Cristena DAVIDSON (both b/c-1836) children: Charles 9, Matilda 6, twins Martha & Mary 3, Amanda 1. Am seeking marriage info on Samuel & Mary Cristena. I do not have her maiden name. This is one thing I'd like to find, also the names of Samuel's parents. Also, I would like to get the birth dates of the children for an accurate entry in my files. This family moved from Ohio to Kansas between 1870 & 1880.
