Butler Candy & Ice Cream Company

In 1913, the Butler Candy & Ice Cream Company's officers were:
  • President – H. G. Butler
  • Vice President – Jos. Erdman
  • Secretary – Hiram Bolsinger
  • Treasurer – I. K. Butler
The company was located at 4634 Main Avenue (Montgomery Road), which was also the residence of H. G. Butler and his wife, Isabel K. Butler.

According to the Ohio Secretary of State, The Butler Candy and Ice Cream Company was incorporated in Norwood, Ohio, on February 23, 1912 (Registration Number 65639). The date of dissolution was April 28, 1916. Based on advertisements in 1916 issues of the Mirror, a student publication of Norwood High School, the company was replaced by Malas Bros. at that address. They sold candies and their slogan was "box goods a specialty."
