Welcome to the Miami County Historical & Genealogical Society website! Our goal is to promote genealogical research, foster the public awareness of the development and heritage of Miami County, Ohio and preserve its history through the collections, indexing and publishing of relevant books and materials.

As our society partners with the Piqua Library's Local History Department, we invite you to take advantage of the many resources and assistance of our society and the volunteers at Local History. For more in depth research we have genealogists available for an hourly rate. Online queries are also welcome. Let us help you get started climbing your family tree or break down those brick walls.
