Elizabeth Clarrisa Simmons Roe, born in 1848 in Ohio to Isaac Simmons (born 1806 in New York) and Minerva (born 1814 in New York).
Isaac and Minerva had the following children; Charles born in 1833, Clark born in 1835, Minerva born in 1842, Samuel H. born in 1845
and Elizabeth Clarrisa (all children born in Ohio). Elizabeth married Lewis Roe
on the 19th of September 1868 in Elyria, Lorain Co., Ohio. Elizabeth and Lewis had the following children; Charles W born the 19th of
May 1870,Blanche E (married George Dunfee) born in 1873, Lewellyn (married George E Oldfield) born the 13th of Dec 1874, and Alice
Mary ( married Leo Greene) born the 24th of May 1884. Elizabeth Clarrisa Simmons Roe died on the 20th of June 1925 at the home of her
daughter Blanche Dunfee, who at that time lived in Michigan. This picture was taken about 1868.
