Only
primary documentation will be accepted. Birth, Death, Marriage, and Military Service
must be documented with
proof of all entries on the form, and copies of such must accompany
the application form to be submitted to the SCWFLC  committee to review for membership.

SOCIETY OF CIVIL WAR FAMILIES OF LICKING COUNTY OHIO

A  prestigious lineage society founded by The Ohio Genealogical Society
and adopted by the Licking County Genealogical Society To honor
Licking County Civil War Soldiers

 

To qualify for membership, you must be a member of
The Licking County Genealogical Society and prove
your direct descent from a Licking County Civil
War soldier, 
or the sibling of such soldier. Qualifying soldiers are those who were born, lived,
or died in Licking County Ohio, or who served in a Licking County Ohio Unit, 
male or female, Union or Confederate.

All applications and supporting documentation are preserved
at the Licking County Genealogical Society library.

SCWFLC members will be inducted at the Licking County Genealogical Societies Annual Picnic
in August of each year. Each inductee is awarded
a membership certificate and SCWFLC recognition pin. 

Deadline for application for annual induction is June 1st of each year.

to fill them out, print them and mail them to L.C.G.S.
The form can't be saved, so be sure to print out two copies, one for yourself and the other for submission.
