I live in the Washington DC area and I'm looking for a marriage record for Henry ("Harry") Boggs and Louisa ______. This marriage happened between 1848 and the 1850 Census. Louisa's birthplace is listed as OH and Harry had a brother and family in Steubenville. I've been unable to locate a marriage record in St. Louis, where they spent the rest of their lives. In return, I can offer research in DC-area archives, libraries and societies, many of which have sources from all over the country.Sean Drury

Hi, I live in California and am willing to do research for anyone that needs something. I am desperately searching for my grandmother, Margaret Marie Kecskes/Kesckes who was born in Adena, OH on 1/8/1908. I have contacted various places and because of the date no birth was on record before 12/1908. Therefore, I understand her parents were catholic so I am assuming she may have been baptized somewhere near Adena. I have searched the 1910 census but have found nothing. My great grandfather was a coal miner in Williamson County in the 1920's so I can only assume that he may have been involved in the coal industry. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Gina

I live in San Jose, CA and would be glad to look up info in this area for anyone who is interested. My request here is a bit unusual because I don't have any idea how to go about finding this information. My grgrgrandparents lived in Smithfield, Jefferson county until 1877. Their home was located almost on the Smithfield Quaker cemetery. A few years ago I visited there and saw an abandoned house there that exactly fit the description of their home. What I want to find out is if the house is still standing and who owns the property now and where I can find property deeds and such. Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
