MARY TAPPAN MAHON SUMMONED BY DEATH

Miss Mary Tappan Mahon, of 1627 Ridge Avenue, died at Ohio Valley Hospital on Friday at 9 a.m. following a few days illness.

Miss Mahon was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late George Trainer Mahon and Mrs. Mary Tappan Mahon, her mother surviving with one brother George Mahon, A sister Lora Jane is deceased.

Miss Mahon was a graduate of Steubenville High School. She graduated from the college of congress and business administration at Ohio State University in December. She was a member of the national professional sorority Phi Chi Theta. She was a devoted member of St. Paul's Church.

Miss Mahon was the descendant of several of the old time prominent families in the history of this city. She was a young woman of fine personal qualities and gifted for the line of life work she had chosen, hence her death is a matter of regret to her many young friends.
