Mrs. Mabel Boyd

BLOOMINGDALE---Mrs. Mabel F. Boyd, 72, died at 4 a.m. today in Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville. She had been a patient for 13 weeks and had been ill for 16 years.
Mrs. Boyd was born Feb. 16, 1885, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late James and Arbelle Warren Ferguson.
She was a member of Uniport Eastern Star Lodge No. 360 and was a Past Matron of the lodge. She was also an honorary member of Pythian Sisters of Unionport and a member of Bloomingdale Presbyterian Church.
She was married to Frank Boyd, June 22, 1910, who survives along with two nieces. One son, one brother and one sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Blackburn Funeral Home, Hopedale, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. (DST) Monday in the funeral home. The Rev. Mr. Robert Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery.
