Mrs. Laura Alban

Mrs. Laura McWha Alban, 81, of 120 Brady Circle, apartment 1, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Robinson Nursing Home. She had been ill four months, a patient six weeks, and seriously ill ten days.
She was born Sept 4, 1876, in Brooke County, W. Va., the daughter of the late George and Amelia Atkinson McWha.
Mrs. Alban was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church, the Daughters of 1812 and the Steubenville Woman's Club, She was a member of the Steubenville Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her husband, Attorney W. R> Alban, preceded her in death in 1947.
Mrs. ALban leaves one daughter, Mrs. J. E. Peterson of Steubenville; one son, Frederick W. Alban of Daly City, Calif.; four grandchildren, Mrs. Frances E. Taylor and Mrs. Richard S. Vaughn, both of Steubenville and Frederick Alban and William Alban, both of Columbus, and one great grandson, Mark Vaughn of Steubenville.
Friends may call at the McClave Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Funeral Home. The Rev. Mr. George R. Sweeney will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
