Mrs. Daisy Mossgrove

Mrs. Daisy Powers Mossgrove, widow of Dr. James Ross Mossgrove, of 817 N. 4th St., died in the Ohio Valley Hospital Saturday.

Mrs. Mossgrove was born in Steubenville, May 30, 1878, the daughter of the late James and Malissa McCoy Powers.

She was a life member of Westminster Presbyterian Church; the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Query Club.

She was graduated from the Steubenville Female Seminary and Maryland College, Lutherville, Md.

Mrs. Mossgrove leaves a daughter, Mrs. Eugene J. (Margaret) Detmer of Tarrytown, M. Y.; three grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Friends may call McClave Funeral Home today 3-5 and 7-9- p.m.; services there 11 a.m. Tuesday; Rev. Mr. C. Sheldon Hastings; Union Cemetery.
