Mrs. J. B. Nicholson Summoned by Death

Mrs. Agnes J. Underwood Nicholson, wife of Joseph B. Nicholson, 904 North Seventh street, died at her home on January 19, at 3 p.m. Her death came after a short illness and was due to angina pectoris.
She was born May 9, 1862 near Fernwood, the daughter of former County Commissioner John Underwood and Mary Mansfield Underwood, both deceased. She was married to Mr. Nicholson September 26, 1883 in historic St. James Church. They were the only coupleever married in that church. Her husband and two children survive, John Underwood Nicholson and Mary Agnes Nicholson; also two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Reynolds of Steubenville and Mrs. J. E. Gault of Toronto.
Mrs. Nicholson was a member of St. Stephen'a church and was chairman of St. Stephens twig and active in the work of other societies in the church. She was a member of the Women's club and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a woman of very pleasing personality and her death will be a matter of regret to all who knew her in her many activities in life.
