Mrs. Anna M. Loomer

Deep, desolating sadness came into the home of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Hall, 2522 Sunset Boulevard, on Tuesday at 8 a.m., when the Angel of Death appeared and claimed the only child, the daughter of the home. Mrs. Anna May Loomer. Mrs. Loomer had been ill since March and in May she was in the hospital for several weeks, where she underwent several operations for stomach trouble. Lately her ailments took on a more serious phase, but she comforted her parents by assuring them that she knew of approaching death and she was happily prepared for the final summons. She was born in Wheeling, but had resided here with her parents since her fifth year. She was united in marriage to Samuel Loomer, of this city. Her parents names were John T., and Frances Hall. Mrs. Loomer had united with the First M. E. Church in her girlhood. Her death will be a matter of deep regret to many friends to whom she endeared herself by her fine disposition and excellent personality. The loss falls very heavily on the mother, to whom she was ever a devoted and inseperable companion, a rare friendship between mother and daughter worthy of emulation. SHe was of so much comfort and so companionable in the home to her parents that in her death it would seem, all sunshine had departed forever. The deceased was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; the ladies' auxiliary of the Dokies and the C. B. G. Club, which met socially each two weeks.
