LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF HEZEKIAH PRICE, Hamilton Co., OH
          Written 1 April 1830               Filed 10 August 1830            Box No. 6.
5 Jun 1830 Special Court Session    Bond $1400, Security: Martin Ryan, Dominicus King
                          Appraisers: John Short, Richard Botkin, Jacob Felter

     In the name of God Amen   I Hezekiah Price of Hamilton County and State of Ohio, considering the uncertainty of this life and being of sound mind and perfect memory before me Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say, after the payment of all just debts and funeral expenses.    I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife ANNE one cow, and all my household goods.  I leave at her disposal and for her use during her life all my wearing apparel and fifty dollars yearly and every year for her maintenance as long as she may live.
I also give and bequeath unto my eldest son CLARKSON PRICE fifty dollars in addition to what he has already had from me.  I also give and bequeath unto my second son PETER PRICE one hundred dollars and I also give and bequeath unto my third and youngest son WILLIAM R. PRICE one hundred and thirty dollars together with my desk and bookcase and all my books excepting those marked as the property of another person by me or my orders.  I also give and bequeath unto my eldest daughter HANNAH CRAIN fifty dollars.  I also give and bequeath unto my second daughter SUSANNAH RADABAUGH fifty dollars.  I also give and bequeath unto my third daughter ESTHER RYAN fifty dollars and I also give and bequeath unto my fourth and youngest daughter KATHARINE S. PRICE one hundred dollars together with my loom and tackling and such household goods as may remain after the death of my wife.  Which said several legacies or sums of money I will and order shall be paid unto the said respective legatees within six months after the decease of my wife or as soon thereafter as may be practicable.  But in case my moveable estate should prove to be insufficient to pay all the said legacies, I will that each shall receive in proportion to the sum willed to him or her.  I will also that whatever remaining over and above the several sums willed be equally divided among my seven children male and female.  I further give and devise to my said youngest son WILLIAM R. PRICE his heirs and assigns all that my house and lot or tenement situate lying and being in the Town of Mechanicsburgh in the County of Butler and State of Ohio being lot number four on the original plot of said Town together with all that appertains thereunto.  And lastly I hereby appoint my said youngest son WILLIAM R. PRICE sole executor of this my last will and testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty.                  (Signed)  Hezekiah Price
