TRISCHLER
Paul Trischler - Requiem
High Mass for Paul Trischler, 88 will be intoned at 9 a.m. Monday at
the
Church of the Nativity. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, St.
Bernard.
Mr. Trischler, a
retired factory fireman, died Thursday at his home, 3119 Beaver Avenue,
Pleasant Ridge. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Jennie Trischler; two
daughters,
Mrs. Frances Paulsen and Miss Catherine Trischler; two sons, Joseph a.
and Frank J. Trischler; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
ROSS
Charles Ross, 43, Railway
Express Co. driver, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr.
Ross, who lived at 1346 Spring Street, leaves his widow, Mrs. Juanita
Ross;
his mother, Mrs. Rose Ross, and a sister, Mrs. Ollie Purdy, all of
Cincinnati.
The T. P. White funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
KORN
Peter Korn, 69, baker
at the National Biscuit Co., died late Thursday at St. Francis
Hospital.
He lived at 2380 Wheeler street. Mr. Korn leaves his widow, Mrs.
Anna Spiller Korn, and two sons, Clarence and Rudolph Korn, all of
Cincinnati.
Services will be
held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Nurre Brothers Funeral Home, 345 W.
McMillan
Street, and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Bernard.
BACKMEIER
Henry Backmeier - Funeral
services for Henry Backmeier, former Cincinnatian who died in San
Francisco,
will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dhonau funeral home, Knowlton’s
Corner.
Mr. Backmeier, who was
52, died unexpectedly in his hotel room in San Francisco, his brother,
Detective Louis Backmeier, said. The cause of his death was not
learned
here.
Mr. Backmeier had been
at San Francisco more than 20 years as a representative of local trust
companies. He served as a second lieutenant in World War I, and
was
a member of the Kilwinning Lodge of Masons. Besides his brother,
he leaves his mother, Mrs. Augusta Sand, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret
Benson,
both of Cincinnati.
