Death notice for David L. Rusk printed in the Cincinnati Daily Gazette on April 24, 1876.  Death notice follows:

Suddenly,on Friday morning, April 21st., David L. Rusk, at his residence on McMillan Street, East Walnut Hills, aged 70 years. Funeral services from his late residence, on Monday afternoon, April 24th, at 2 o’clock.  Friends of the family are invited to attend. Carriages will leave the office of J. P. Epply, corner Ninth and Plum streets, at 1 o’clock p.m., for those who desire to attend.

On Tuesday, July 6, at 15 minutes to 1o’clock, at her late residence on Walnut Hills, Rebecca Rusk, wife of D. L. Rusk, in the 67th year of her age.  The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon, at 2 o’clock, from the family residence, Madison road.  The friends and relatives are invited to attend. Carriages will leave J. P. Epply’s, corner of Ninth and Plum, at 1o’clock.
