CORONER'S INQUESTS. - Yesterday morning the body of Geo. W. SHELDON, who put up at the Galt House on the 17th, was found dead in his bed. The verdict of death from cause unknown was returned. The deceased resided in Tarlton, Ky.

    On the body of Sarah STEEFT, a German woman, aged about 40 years, who died very suddenly at her residencfe at No. 66 West Front st., at about 6 o'clock yesterday morning; the jury brought in a verdict of death by apoplexy.

    On the body of Ann Steele HOLDEN, aged about 16 years, who has been living in a house of ill repute at No. 134 West Pearl st., a verdict of death from suicidal poisoning was brought in.  The deceased took morphine at about 12 o'clock Sunday night, and died at 9 o'clock on Monday morning.  The family of the deceased reside at Covington.

    Also, began an inquest on the body of John NIERNEY, who was shot at the Baltimore Exchange, on 5th street, near Elm, about 12 o'clock Saturday night, for hallooing for McClellan. He died at the residence of his parents, No. 55 Cutter street, yesterday at 9 o'clock A.M.  The case was postponed until 2 o'clock this P.M. to get farther testimony.
