To all whome these presents shall come Greeting, whereas on the 23rd day of Sep
tember AD 1847 Joseph Richardson filed his certain bill in chancery in
the Court of Common Pleas when and for the County of Hamilton and
State of Ohio against Bertheba Markland, Elish Richardson, Mary
Richardson, David C. Richardson, Elizabeth Ann Groves
late Elizabeth Ann Richardson and William Groves her husband, William
Richardson and David Richardson, William Richardson, Samuel Richardson
and Joseph Richardson heirs at law of Isaac Richardson decd heirs at
law of David Richardson decd and Nancy Richardson widow of David Rich
ardson decd, Alexander Long and William C. Markland, administrators
of Devid Richardson decd, William W. Richardson and Delia Ann Richardson
and Clarissa H Richardson children of David C. Richardson and
Elvira Richardson late wife of David C. Richardson, demanding partition
of certain real estate herein after described and whereas such proceedings
were had upon said partition, that at the February Term AD 1849 of
said Court the sheriff of said County of Hamilton was ordered to sell said
real estate at public auction where upon the siad Sheriff in pursuance of said
order having caused the same to be duly advertised and on the second day of
April AD 1849, sell said real estate at oublic auction to William C Groves
for the sum of two thousand three hundred and twenty eight 75/100 dollars
which said sum being more that two thirds the appraised value of said


real estate and the ??? ???? and best bid offered for the same, which sale was
afterwards at the May Term of said Court AD 1849 appeared and
confirmed and the said Sheriff ordered to execute and deliver a deed
in fee simple to the said purchaser for said real estate all which
will more fully appear referance being had to the records of said court
Now therefore I Joseph Cooper, Sherriff of Hamilton County as aforesaid in
consideration of the promise and by virtue of ?????? ?? ???
