In Lots No. 156. 157. This Indenture made this twenty ninth day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & ninety six Between Abraham GARRISON of the County of Hamilton and Territory of the United States north west of the river Ohio of the first part and Andrew PARK of the County of Hamilton and Territory aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Abraham GARRISON for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars to him in hand paid at or before the ensealing and delivery hereof by the said Andrew PARK the receipt whereof the said Abraham GARRISON doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth clearly acquit exonerate and discharge the said Andrew PARK his Executors and administrators have given granted bargained sold aliened released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do fully give grant bargain & sell unto the said Andrew PARK and to heirs and assigns forever all those two Town lots viz. Lot \\\\\\\ One hundred and fifty Six & Lot No One hundred and fifty seven containing 72 perches each of land situate and being in the Town of Cincinnati in the County aforesaid in the Miami Purchase being a part of the 17th & 18th or one of those Sections in the forth township and first fractional Range which lots contains six Rods the front & twelve rods deep together with all and singular the privileges and appurtenances to the said lots belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the before granted premises with the appurtenances and privileges thereunto belonging to the said Andrew Park his heirs and assigns that are for their own proper use benefit & behoof /// forever and the said Abraham GARRISON for himself and his heirs Executors and administrators doth covenant promise and agree unto and with the said Andrew PARK his heirs and assigns that at the time of the ensealing and delivery hereof he is the true sole and lawful owner by virtue of a Patent received of John Cleves SYMMES bearing date the thirty first day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five as by said patent may more fully appear and is lawfully seized of the same by purchase & hath in himself full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in manner aforesaid and the said Abraham GARRISON doth further covenant with the said Andrew PARK & his heirs and assigns that all and singular the premises and lots afforsd unto the said Andrew PARK and to his heirs and assigns against all lawful claims and demands whatsoever he the said Abraham GARRISON & his heirs will well and truly warrant & forever by these presents defend. In Witness Whereof the said Abraham GARRISON together with Lydia his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of Dower in the premises hereunto severally set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year aforesaid. N.B. the words the & doth underlined before signing.

Hamilton SS{ Before me Thomas Gibson one of the Justices of the Court of Common Pleas for the said Court personally appeared Abraham Garrison & Lydia Garrison the within grantors the said Lidya being separately examined apart they acknowledged the within signatures to be their hand and seal act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. In Testamony Whereof I have set my hand and Seal this 6th day of September 1796 (Signed) Tho. Gibson.
