Camp Dennison is one of the most
historic
points in the valley of the Little Miami River. The entire site
of
the village before the Civil War comprised of 160 acres owned by Nimrod
Price. It was selected by General Scott at the location of an
army
hospital and at the outbreak of the Rebellion its survey as a military
camp was done under the supervision of General Rosecrans.
There is a revolutionary war soldier
buried here: Christian Waldsmith
