The land for this cemetery was purchased by John Jones in 1800. John Jones was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. The majority of the burials took place between 1830-1850. There are 23 headstones, but nine are unreadable.

  • Jones, John-"Who departed this life March 24, 1821, 57 years and 15 days. He was at the Surrender of Cornwallis in Yorktown in 1781. In 1790 he settled Ruddel’s Station in Kentucky and removed to Hamilton County Ohio to farm in the spring Of 1798." A memorial marker is attached to the top of the stone bearing the Inscription "Revolutionary Soldier 1775-1783" placed by the Mariemont Chapter DAR
