BERNER
PAROLED The Man Who was the Cause of the Big Cincinnati Riot Columbus, Ohio, June 5 -- William Berner, who was the cause of the riots in 1884, was paroled to-night by the board of managers of the Ohio penitentiary. Berner was received in March, 1884, for twenty years for manslaughter and on account of good time gained would have been released in March, 1896. He has been a model prisoner. |
