I would like to know if anyone could look up a marriage for me. Maggie (Margaret) BELCHER married Valentine COCHRAN 26 Oct. 1882. Would love to have all info in marriage register or would like to know if there is a marriage bond. I am also looking for the birth of my grandmother. Dama Marie BELCHER was born 8 Feb 1900 place unknown, but cannot find her in Kanawha County WV where I had thought she was born. As her aunt Maggie was married in Gallia it may be possible that there was family there and Dama's mother was sent away to have her illegitimate child. May also be listed as Dama Marie Brown.

The 1860 US census of Gallia County included the John Peter Worley Family. I am seeking any information on that family. Where did they come from and when? Where did they go and when (not listed in the 1870 Gallia County census)? The 1850 census of Kanawha Co. VA (WV) does include what appears to be the same family, but I would like to verify that. It appears that twin daughters were born in Gallia County about 1858. Their names were Isabel and Arabel.

John married Sarah McGlammery in 1799 in Greenbrier (later became Monroe Co.) Co., WV. John moved to Lawrence Co., Ohio about 1815, later to Vermillion Co., IL about 1829 then to Missouri about 1832. In 1834 he married Nany (Kyle) Rapp (widow of Daniel Rapp) in Greene Co., MO. Thomas may have had another brother named Edmond or Edward. Possibility of more siblings.
