 DIES IN HOSPITAL  Peter Georgantis, aged 35 years, died yesterday at the tuberculosis hospital, Hamilton after a long illness.  Besides many friends he is survived by the widow and one daughter.  The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 at J. D. Riggs chapel and burial will take place in the Middletown cemetery.

Peter Georganty was first buried at the Middletown Cemetery 3-17-1918 by Riggs Funeral Home.
The Middletown Cemetery burial records have him buried under the name of Peter GEORGANDES.
After the death of his wife Irene GEORGANTY in 1947, Peter was removed 3-17-1948 from the Middletown Cemetery and re-interred beside his wife at Woodside Cemetery Sec 10 Lot 1020. vcm:

GEORGOSTATHIS  Anastasios C. George N Revelos note: I knew Mr. Georgostathis.  He was partners with Tony Zaharopoulos first in Oxford in a Pizza place.  Soula and I met them years ago there. They later bought a nightspot in Middletown I think called the Spigot or Faucet, something like that.  He and Tony had a falling out and he bought the Parrott from John Rigas, George Rigas' son.  The Parrott was then on the corner of First and Main. John Rigas stayed and worked for them after he sold them the restaurant. Georgostathis had a heart attack and died.  His wife Tasia and children Gus, Jim and Joanne ran the place for quite a few years.  Gus married a Cincinnati girl and opened up a Skyline Chili in Beavercreek. Eventually, Joanne went to work for Skyline in Cincinnati as a facilitator for new store openings.  Jim eventually sold the Parrott to his cook a non Greek.  John Rigas had died several years before.  The Parrott folded within a year.  Jim opened a new Skyline in South Dayton near the mall.  The family lives in Monroe.  Both the Georgostathis and Zaharopoulos families were members of our church.  The Zaharopoulos family closed the night spot and moved to Cincinnati years ago.
