First High School in Wauseon
It was built in 1868 and it was condemed in 1897 as foundation was settling.  The structure was remodeled with the upper story removed and in 1903 it was reopened as the First City Hospital for over 
25 years.  Then in 1933 Detwiler Memorial Hospital was 
opened.  This building was then converted to four apartment units and was rental property till in 1969 when Ruth Brown Campbell
donated the building to the Fulton Co. Historical Society
 
Wauseon Normal School
was located on East Elm Street
 
Wauseon Normal School 
later became the elementary school
 
Old Wauseon Highschool 
that burned, was located at corner of Elm and Clinton Streets

was located on Depot Street
