I am researching any information on a Wilbert Thomas ANDERSON who was born: abt 1901 died: abt 1949. He was born in and around East Liverpool, Ohio area. His father was Thomas ANDERSON and mother was ? GREEN. He had a sister Helen. Thomas ANDERSON supposedly worked for the Department of Weights and Measures around the turn of the century. If you have any information or suggestions on how to research this type of information it would be appreciated. I'm kind of at a stone wall.

Rachel CLARK and James CLARK were married in Columbiana Co., October 13, 1830(Booth were apparently named Clark when they married). Rachel Clark b Columbiana Co., Ohio, d July 17, 1886 in West Branch, Richland Co, WI. They moved to Wisconsin in 1856, and settled on Fancy Creek, Richland Co., WI. She united with the M.E. church in Ohio in 1846. They had nine children, One was named Martha Clark-Hebert b1841 in OH d1912

I am looking for any info. on my SMITH family. Henry Smith and his wife Sarah (BAIRD?) were living there when their son was born. George T. B. Smith b.1837 and had a brother William V. I don't know if there were other siblings. Henry Smith was b. 1808 The family lived there till 1854 then moved to Illinois. Please help if you have any info, I am stuck!!

I am a native of Wellsville, Columbiana County, and my father (also Earl A. BAKE), resided there most of his life. However, I am searching for other BAKE family members who descended from an earlier marriage of my grandfather, William A. Bake (of Jefferson County). I believe one or more lived in central Columbiana County, possibly around Columbiana, in the mid-20th century. Dad had a half-sister, but I do not know her married name. Help will be appreciated.

Winfield Scott SMITH was born on 9 Feb 1852 in Salineville, Washington Twp., Columbiana Co., OH, a son of T.W. Smith and Elizabeth W. MARSHALL. Elizabeth W. Marshall was born in Ohio according to Winfield's 1900 census listing but this has not been verified and no other birth information for her is known. Family tradition is that she was a descendant of a James Marshall who was a first cousin of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall. Please inform me of any information you have about this Marshall line or about the T.W. Smith line.

Searching for any information related to a Myrtle BENNETT from Stubenville who married Henry STONE b. approx. 1845-49 from Toronto . They settled in East Liverpool. Myrtle reportedly had a sister named Sophronia who married several times and lived in East Palatine. She was of questionable reputation. Myrtle had other brothers and sisters but don't know their names. It is possible they came from W.VA or PA.

Tamar Jane SINCLAIR, b. 1852 d. 1912, married Jefferson Blaine GILLESPIE in Columbiana Co. in 1878. She was the daughter of Archibald T. (or J) SINCLAIR and Margaret A. Johnston.
