Date posted: Monday, March 30, 1998

I have traced my gg-grandfather, Patrick PLUNKETT, to Columbiana County. He left his wife (or she left him) in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio, sometime after the birth of their last child in 1855. The 1860 census shows him residing in Columbiana County with (wife?) Mary, and sons Edward and Thomas. I am trying to find any information, such as a death record, that might give me a clue for further research. I know that he emigrated from Ireland between 1845 and 1849, but I do not know who his parents were, or anything else about him. Apparently he died sometime in 1864.
