Monroe county was once part of Belmont county. I was wondering if anyone would have info on the Mount Hope cementery by Marr, Ohio. Looking for a plot map of people buried there. I've recored the graveyard but there are a couple of graves by my gg grandpa that could be my ggg-grandpa & ma. Gaves are to faded to make anything out. The graves are beside James Parks 1821. I'm thinking it could be his parents. Thank you Tim Parks

Esther MILLER and Josiah JOHNSTON or JOHNSON married in Belmont County in March 1831. Looking for information regarding other siblings and/or parents names. Esther was born 11/1/1810. After her marriage to Josiah Johnston (later changed to Johnson) they moved to Johnson County, Iowa abt. 1842/1843. There are a number of Miller's in Belmont County and in Johnson County, IA and the only information I have at this time is Esther's birth, death, and marriage dates. Josiah and Esther did name their fourth child Robert Miller Johnson and I suspect that may be Esther's father's name. Any information or guidance would be appreciated.

I seek to identify TRACY children of George and Sarah (KINNICK) TRACY, born between about 1826 an 1850, and raised in Belmont County, most likely in Kirkwood Township or possibly in Union Township. They were on their own and not with the family in the 1850 census (only Christian, Lucinda and Rebecca were there). The 1840 and 1850 census suggests there were a total of 10 children. Believe we have successfully traced Lucinda, all the rest are still mysteries. Any information will be helpful. Thank you!! Bill ;-)
