I learned after my grandfather passed away in 1965 that the relatives, other families, spelled their name HINES. That John Hines and Carolyn Snyder/Snider, his parents, may be buried in Cemetery in or near Barnesville, Oh. Grandfather, James F. Hinds, wife Cora Frasher-HInds were married in 1894 in Barnesville, Ohio and are buried in Gibson Chapel Cemetery just outside of Barnesville. To trace my grandfather's parents I need to know for sure how they spelled their name.I am trying to locate my grandfather's relatives who sign their last name Hines. His name was James F. Hinds, died 1965. Life long
resident of Barnesville, Ohio area. Sincerely, V. MEEK

I am interested in information about the family of Robert Hopper who had five sons, all of whom fought in the Civil War. My grandfather, Samuel Duff, was one of the five. Two others, James and John, died as a result of war activity. Two others, William and Robert, were wounded but survived. Rodney Hopper and Anne Okey are related to me through the brothers but we have not been able to make contact due to stale e.mail addresses.
