Am trying to find any information on Margaret E. McGARRY who married James V. CROOKS in Belmont County in 1874. Believe she was the mother of Eliza Jane Crooks who was born in January of 1875, in Blaine. Margaret was only 15 when she married. She may have died some time after birth of Eliza Jane or possibly divorced, because James Crooks remarried in 1886. Any help will be appreciated. Please respond by email.

Looking for a marrage of a Louisa SALTKILL to a Thomas COCHRAN or COUCHRAN about 1831. Also would like to know if you can help locate the childern of a Lucy Smith SALTKILL/SALKELD. She shows up in Belmont County in the 1830 census. I lose her after 1830. She may have died there in Belmont Co., Ohio. Again she could be living with one of her childern. She came from Federick, Maryland. Her husband died in 1816. She is still in Federick, Maryland in 1820; but is in Belmont Co., Ohio in 1830. I believe that she had a son, David, who by 1841 moved to Scott County, Indiana. This is all I have for now. Please respond by email.

Cyrus BOYD married Jean WHITE, date/place unknown. They are in Belmont Co., OH by 1820. Three known children. William b. 1817 m. Rachel Duvall; Susannah 1810-1843? m. Eden Ewers; & Cyrus Jr. 1819-1904 m. Elizabeth Price. Where did Cyrus BOYD & JEAN WHITE come from? Who are their parents? Believe Cyrus may have been in Washington Co., PA in 1800, but have checked vitals available there without luck for their marriage. Although Cyrus Jr. married a Quaker, have no reason to believe the Boyds were Quakers. Ohio deeds have not revealed any place of origin. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
