After OCS, I went to Keesler AFB, MS and attended Communications Officer School for one year. I then went to Alaska (1959-1964) and spent the next five

years on the Alaskan Air Command Staff, working with communications all over Alaska. Was there during the 1964 Alaskan earthquake.

Went to MacDill AFB, Florida (1964-1966) and served in STRIKE command communications. Then went to Guam (1966-1968) and served as Communications Officer at Andersen AFB.

Served at Scott AFB, IL (1968-1970) as Chief of the Air Force Communications Service Command Post. When AFCS moved to Missouri, I took another assignment as Communications Operations Officer for the Southern Communications Area, Tinker, AFB, OK (1970-1972)

In June 1972 I voluntarily retired as a regular Air Force Major to enter the ministry. By then I was able to retire with 25 years service on my 41st birthday. After retirement, I went back to school at Oklahoma Baptist University and earned degrees in Religion and Psychology. In the seventies and eighties I pastored Southern Baptist Churches in Oklahoma and Colorado.

I returned to Oklahoma at the end of 1989 and worked on the State Baptist Convention of Oklahoma staff directing several programs in the Missions Department. I retired again on December 31, 1997. After living on Lake Texoma for eighteen months, I was contacted to work as a Church Planter Missionary in Colorado. Jo Ann and I moved to Poncha Springs, CO, and went to work starting a new church in a fast growing area.

We enjoy living in the Rocky Mountains and working with the people. Thanks for setting up this most informative and interesting Webb Site. Hope to attend the next reunion.
