The question: An Indian Army
officer, stationed
at Dera Ismail Khan on the Afghanistan frontier in 1860. His regiment
the 10th Punjab, is due to be disbanded, so he sells his commission and
sets sail for the Red Sea to do some big game hunting. As a guess
how long would it take to get from Dera Ismail Khan to Bombay, where he
took passage? All guesses would be welcome.
