About Us
The Hutt Valley Branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1983 to promote the search for family histories of members.
Our objectives are:
- To encourage compilation and publication of records and family histories
- To stimulate interest among members and others in genealogy and family history research
- To acquire for the use of members and others, materials and publications which are of genealogical value
