Fort Brewerton,
Brewerton, Oswego Co. built in 1759.
Fort Brown
site - Plattsburgh, Clinton Co.; built during the war of 1812.
Fort Bull
Burned to the ground by the French on 27 Mar 1756
Fort Clinton
- most was demolished for road construction and the rest is within Bear Mountain State Park.
Fort Columbus aka Fort Jay
Fort Conti - burned to the ground in 1679, then became Fort Denonville and later became Fort Niagara.
Fort Crown Point
- built by the British in 1759; located near the town of Crown Point; largest earthen fortress built in the U.S.
Fort Dayton
- located in Herkimer, Ny.

Fort Drum - U. S. Army military reservation in Jefferson Co.
Fort Gardiners Point Island - an island in Block Island Sound and former location of Fort Tyler. Privately owned and popularly called "The Ruins."
Fort george - consisted of five forts. lastly built in 1776 in new york city. currently the site of the george washington high school.
Fort h. g. wright - was a u.s. military installation on fishers island.
Fort hamilton - located in brooklyn as a military installation.
Fort herkimer - built in 1740. originally known as Fort kaouri. destroyed during the construction of the erie canal.
Fort hunter - located in montgomery co. currently the site of schoharie crossing aqueduct.
Fort klock - built in appriximately 1750. the site is maintained by the Fort klock historic restoration as a living museum.
Fort de la presentation - aka Fort la galette and Fort oswegatchie.
Fort levis - first built in 1759 by the french. partially destroyed by the construction of the st. lawrence seaway.
Fort michie - was a u.s. coastal defense site on great gull island.
Fort montgomery (hudson river) - built during the american revolution and is now operated by ny as the Fort montgomery state historic site.
