John Ryan b. 1953 Troy, Father James Ryan b. 1904, Mother Edith Hastings.

Grandfather Patrick Ryan b. 1869 Ireland Grandmother Catherine McDermott b. Ireland 1868

Immigrated to US in 1881. I believe Patrick had a Brother William Ryan his son also William was a Troy Police Officer I believe he was a motor cycle officer.

Patrick may have come from Cork.
