OLD BUSINESS
Donna reminded everyone of the deadline for ordering
the TIGS logo on sweatshirts/T shirts. Jeanne Keefe purchased five
T-shirts that will be printed with the TIGS logo and offered for
sale at meetings and local events. Donna would like a group from
TIGS represented at the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Albany.
Jeanne Keefe will look into the cost of purchasing a banner.
Kris Ayotte shared the extensive list she compiled
from list members who have offered to do lookups for people in resources
they either own or have access to. Jeanne Keefe will place the list
on the website. The members expressed their thanks to Kris for the
great job she did with organizing the resource list.
There were 200 people who attended Jeanne Keefe’s
recent presentation at the RCHS. The members thanked Jeanne for
the excellent program. A link to the Times Union article about her
presentation will be put on the website. Jeanne has not heard back
from WMHT regarding TIGS involvement in their auction. Donna will
follow up with WMHT.
Jeanne designed a membership card and Cathy McGrath
will bring cards to the next meeting. The supply of brochures has
run out. A motion was made by Lizette Strait and seconded by Mimi
Nicotina to authorize an expenditure of $60 to purchase paper and
ink for additional brochures. The motion passed. Bill McGrath suggested
TIGS brochures be placed in the record room at the County Clerk’s
Office. The agenda items regarding the NYS Library tours and the
Garden Tour were tabled.
NEW BUSINESS
Donna asked the members to review the organization’s

meeting. The members discussed Donna’s idea of publishing
a newsletter. It was agreed that it would be a good idea; Mini Nicotina
and Ann White offered to work with Donna. A motion was made by Kris
Ayotte and seconded by Donna Vaughn to develop a TIGS newsletter.
