Langton/Keefe/O'Keefe/Borden/Clark

My G-G Grandparents ---- Langton - Mary Keefe Langton (died 1907) and James Langton (born approx 1822 -- died in Troy Nov. 4, 1890, JAMES LANGTON, SR., at his residence, 83 Tenth street. James Langton was the son of Elizabeth Borden and Patrick Langton and I believe was from Dublin.

Mary is the daughter of Richard Keefe and Annie Clark. Mary and James lived on 83 10th Street......The Langton family lived there for about 100 years. There are still Langtons in the area that I have contacted. The house may not exist because on MapQuest it looks as if it's on the campus of Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute. In 1880 three of Mary Keefe's daughters worked as collar makers.

James Langton was the son of Elizabeth Borden and Patrick Langton and I
believe was from Dublin.
Their children were:
-- Mary Langton (my great-grandmother) who married 'Dr.James O'Donohoe -
DONOHOE-LANGTON-At the Church of St. Paul the Apostle, March 25, 1894, by the Rev. William O'Mahoney, Dr. James T. C. O'Donohoe of New York and Miss Mary F. Langton of this city as per
https://sites.rootsweb.com/~nytigs/BurdenMarriages-L_M.htm

Their daughter, Ethel O'Donohoe married Francis Patrick Callahan, Sr. and
their son was Francis Patrick Callahan, Jr. -- my father. Ethel grew up in
Manhattan. The Callahans were from Brooklyn.
