James and Eleanor Jones
James Jones and family arrived at New York City on the ship "Irene"
on 19 July 1852 sailing from Liverpool, England.
James Jones was born in 1823 at Blaenporth, Cardiganshire County, Wales 
the son of Daniel and Mary Jones.  And was baptised on 10 Dec 1823 at the 
Blaenporth Parish Church in Blaeporth, Cardiganshire County, Wales.  
He married Eleanor Jones in 1849 at Cardiganshire County, Wales.  
He died 15 July 1864 at Gouverneur, New York and was buried in the 
Wayside Cemetery, Richville, New York.
Eleanor Jones was born 1831 in Bettws Evan, Cardiganshire County, Wales 
the daughter of Walter and Hannah Jones.  She died 26 March 1910 at 
Utica, New York. Eleanor Jones remarried to David Davies (listed as a welsh pioneer.)
She had one daughter from her marriage to David Davies.
Jennie Davies born 1871 in Gouverneur, New York she died in Utica, New York 
between 1940 and 1954.
She had a total of five children from the first marriage.
Hannah born in 1850 at Troedyraur, Cardiganshire County, Wales baptised
29 January 1850 at the Parish Church in Troedyraur, Cardiganshire County, Wales.
She Married William Pritchard.  Was living in Uitca, New York after 1912.
Elizabeth born in 1852 in Wales or England.  Married ? Williams was living
in Utica, New York after 1912.
Mary Rebecca born in 1854 at Gouverneur, New York.  She died 5 September 1871
and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Richville, New York
Walter H. born in 1856 at Gouverneur, New York.  Married Sophia in 1874.
Was living in Flatbush, Kings County, (Brooklyn), New York. Died before 1912.
Eleanor born in 1859 at Gouverneur, New York.  Married ? Killian or Kilion was
living in Utica, New York after 1912.
