Griffith E. Davies
Griffith E. Davies was born 9 August 1849 in Penbryn, Cardiganshire County, Wales
the son of John and Mary(Evans)Davies (listed as a welsh pioneer.)And was baptised 15 September 1849 at the Glynarthen Independant Chapel in Penbyrn,
Cardiganshire County, Wales. Married Emma M. Merton on 5 September 1878.
He died 14 February 1925 and is buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Gouverneur,
New York.
Emma M. Merton died 13 January 1893.
2nd wife: Minnie A. Hill married 27 March 1895, they had one child Ethel Elizabeth.
He had four children from his first marriage.
John F. was born 1879. Died 29 May 1899 and buried in the Riverside Cemetery.
Maybel May was born 1884. Buried in the Riverside Cemetery.
Edwin M. was born 1886. Died 28 October 1889 and buried in the
Riverside Cemetery.
Myrtle Junia was born 1890. Died 1962 and buried in the Riverside Cemetery.
