Evan Jones
Evan D. Jones his and 5 children emmigrated to America in 1851. Before

the son of John and Margaret Jones he was baptised 9 November 1806 at
Parish church of Penbryn, Cardiganshire County, Wales. He married Sarah Davies
6 December 1831 at Brongwyn, Cardiganshire County.
2nd marriage to Ann in 1861 at Gouverneur, New York. He died 21 April 1875
at Gouverneur, New York and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Richville, New York.
Sarah Davies was born 1803 in Llangynllo, Cardiganshire County, Wales the daughter
of David and Mary Davies she was baptised 3 March 1803 at the Trewen Independant
Church in Brongwyn, Cardiganshire County, Wales. She died 2 April 1850 in
Bettws Efan, Cardiganshire County, Wales.
Ann (2nd wife) was born in 1844. She died 6 November 1873. And was buried in the
Wayside Cemetery.
6 children were born to the first wife.
1 child (David) was born to the 2nd wife.
Elizabeth was born 5 November 1832 at Bettws Efan and was baptised 15 November 1832
at the Trewen Independant Church in Brongwyn. She married Thomas Williams
(listed as a welsh pioneer) in 1865 at Cardiganshire County, Wales. She died
13 January 1871 in Gouverneur, New York and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery.
Catherine was born 25 September 1834 at Bettws Efan and and was baptised
15 November 1834 at the Trewen Independant Church in Brongwyn. She died
16 January 1861 at Gouverneur, New York and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery.
John was born 8 March 1837 at Bettws Efan and was baptised 13 May 1837 at the
Trewen Independant Church in Brongwyn. He died 20 December 1861 at Alexandria, Virginia.
And was buried 13 March 1862 in the Wayside Cemetery.
David was born 9 February 1840 at Bettws Efan and was baptised 26 March 1840 at the
Glynarthen Independant Chapel at Penbryn, Cardiganshire County, Wales. He died
13 November 1862 at Fredricksburg, Virginia and was buried 20 Dec 1862 at the
Wayside Cemetery.
Margaret was born 29 March 1843 at Bettws Efan and was baptised
April 1843 at the Glynarthen Independant Chapel. She married a Mr. Davies.
Was living in Winona, Minnesota after 1875.
Evan S. was born in 1847 at Bettws Efan. Living in Winona, Minnesota after 1875.
David was born in 1870 at Gouverneur, New York. He died 28 July 1871
at Gouverneur, New York and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery.
