359. Robert E. Clark was born on 19 Aug 1926 in Wilna, Jefferson, NY. He died on 27 Jan 1993 in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY. His obituary appeared on 30 Jan 1993 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: "Private Rites Scheduled For Robert Clark. Carthage. Burial for Robert E. Clark, 66, Avery Road, will be in Pleasantville Cemetery, town of Clare, at the convenience of the family.
"Mr. Clark died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse. There will be no funeral or calling hours. Arrangements are with the Scherer Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Carthage Area Rescue Squad.
"Surviving are his wife, Lois; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Carol) Plummer, Carthage, and Mrs. Peter (Nancy) Sech, Evans Mills; six grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several cousins.
"He was born Aug. 19, 1926, in the town of Wilna, a son of Ervin S. and Agnes A. Brotherton Clark. He attended Deferiet and Carthage schools, and served in the Navy from May 29, 1944, until March 16, 1946. He married Lois F. Curtis April 16, 1947, in Copenhagen. Mrs. Clark is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Curtis of Degrasse.
"Mr. Clark was employed at the St. Regis Paper Co. (now Champion International Corp.), Deferiet, and at a milk plant in Black River. He later worked 38 years for the New York Air Brake Co., Watertown, retiring May 1, 1989.
"He was a member of Machinists' Union 761, Watertown."
He was buried in Pleasantview Cemetery, Clare, St. Lawrence, NY.

Robert E. Clark and Lois Curtis were married on 16 Apr 1947 in Copenhagen, Lewis, NY. Lois Curtis (daughter of Arthur Curtis and Anita Mills) lived in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY. Robert E. Clark and Lois Curtis had the following children:
