Joanne Carol Hayden and Millard W. Feimann Sr. were married on 16 Nov 1968 in Hagerstown, ___, Maryland. Millard W. Feimann Sr. (son of Louis Feimann and Harriet Bellows) was born on 28 Mar 1925 in Lyon Mountain, Clinton , NY. He died on 17 May 2003 in Malone, Franklin, NY. His obituary appeared on 19 May 2003 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: “Millard Feimann Sr. Fort Covington. Millard W. Feimann Sr., 78, Fort Covington, died Saturday at Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone, where he had been a patient since May 4.
“Mr. Feimann served in the Army for 20 years, was a truck driver for Consolidated Laundry and Albert's Furniture in Connecticut and moved to Fort Covington in 1974 to purchase a hobby farm. He worked for Tru-Stitch Footwear, Malone, and was a union representative there for 10 years. He worked for the Malone Evening Telegram in the collections department, retiring due to ill health.
“Born March 28, 1925, in Lyon Mountain, son of Louis and Harriet Bellows Feimann, he attended school in Malone. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1963 and was in the infantry attached to the Third Armor Division and saw duty during D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, the liberation of Dachau, fought in several campaigns during the Korean War, including Chosin Reservoir, and served with the Cuban Missile Crisis detachment.
“He married Blanche Payne in Stamford, Conn. She died Aug. 10, 1964. He married Joanne Hayden on Nov. 16, 1968, in Hagerstown, Md.
“He was a member of the Methodist Church and former commander of the Fort Covington American Legion Post 1418.
“Surviving besides his wife are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Millard Jr. and Becky, Brushton, and Robert, Tupper Lake; four daughters and a son-in-law, Charmaine and Tony Contreras, address unavailable, Tammy Williams, Wisconsin, Michelle Feimann and Laurie Feimann, both of Fort Covington; a brother, Richard, Constable, 13 grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
“A sister, Ethel Jenson, died before him.
“The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Spaulding Funeral Home, Malone. Burial with military honors will be in Constable Cemetery.
“Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
“Donations may be made to the Special Olympics. “ He was buried in Constable cemetery, Constable, Franklin, NY. Joanne Carol Hayden and Millard W. Feimann Sr. had the following children:
